Lead NDT Level II inspector. Duties include:
Responsible for TDC customer returns as well as Material Review Board (MRB) cage. Duties include daily log in of customer returns into database, storage and systematic maintenance of customer returns; notification of BCMs, Engineering, Quality and Sales upon receipt of customer returns for all BCs ranging from Equiax and D/S single crystal to IGT. Also worked closely with quality engineers to review and make decisions on appropriate dissemination of parts. reentry of data in database. Prepare detailed weekly customer return status report for Quality Engineering Manager. Also responsible for log in and maintenance/verification of deviated parts, salvage/scrap parts as required. Prepared monthly status report and interface with quality engineers on a daily basis to discuss/recommend/decide on final disposition of deviated parts. Attend weekly quality meeting and present customer return status and answer questions if needed.
Responsible for supervision of the 2nd shift consisting of 18 processors, inspectors and dispatchers. Duties included scheduling and prioritizing workflow, training personnel as well as preparing them for the Level II HDT test. Also prepared job reviews, instructed personnel on new policies/standards, conducted daily line and inspection audits to ensure compliance. Inputted work orders, updated lot charts and corrected scanning errors as well as maintained department time and attendance. Served as department Integrated Process Management (IPR) leader an conducted department meetings as needed.
