Stick to four to six lines in the professional summary
The professional summary section is a great place for an applicant to sell herself to the company she wants to work for by discussing traits, skills, education and experience that is most relevant to the position she wants. Make sure the tense is correct in the experience section
Tense is commonly overlooked, but it is important to pay attention to when creating a professional and polished resume. Whenever current employment is listed, all verbs should be written in present tense. All past employment should be written in past tense. Sharra uses past tense endings on her verbs for current employment, so she needs to adjust each one to reflect present tense.
Always use bullet points for information in a list
The bullet point is one of the best ways to keep listed information clearly separated and easily accessible to employers.
