The information listed by the applicant is descriptive and relevant. Making a minor shift in tenses demonstrates consistency and thoughtfulness in the writing. These are two qualities that can truly set you apart.
As a general rule of thumb, Italics are not necessary in your resume writing. The best way to create a bold application is not through fonts or style, but rather an adherence to consistency and strong language.
