Include dates of your employment
This resume sample only has one job listed under Experience, which is fine because she is still a student. However, it is very important that you include the dates for when you worked at every job, so an employer knows exactly how much experience you have gained. She could have been working at Head Start of Orange County for years, or she may have started working there a couple months ago. We also do not know if she still works there or if she quit a while ago. You never want to leave a hiring manager guessing, so include dates with everything.
Use correct tenses
This rule may or may not apply to this sample resume depending on whether she still works at Head Start of Orange County, but you should make sure to always use the proper grammatical tenses. That means using the past tense for jobs you no longer have and the present tense for any current jobs. All the points given for Head Start of Orange County are written in the past tense, which means an employer would assume she no longer works there. If she still works there, then she would need to rewrite those statements, so they are in the present tense.
Avoid repeating information
Most people will only have a single page to sell themselves to a prospective employer, so you need to make every single word count on your resume. That includes refraining from repeating the same material over and over again. She states in her Accomplishments section that she has acquired an advanced high school diploma, and she says the same thing under Education. The fact that she has an advanced diploma is great, but she only needs to say it once. It would probably be best for her to just mention it within Education and to remove it from Accomplishments. By removing redundant information, you will make your resume a lot easier to read, and you will have more room to talk about even more of your achievements.
