Pay Attention to Sentence Structure, Grammar and Punctuation
Even though you don’t need to use complete sentences throughout your resume, you should still be careful to use good grammar and to double-check spelling and punctuation. This sample is filled with spelling and punctuation errors. Some of the punctuation issues, like a lack of spaces after periods, may have to do with copying and pasting between different software programs. Always review your finished document in the format you will use to submit it so that you can see and correct formatting errors right away.
Be Prepared to Explain Gaps in Your Work History
