Flesh out the summary section for full benefit
A professional summary is easier to understand if its looked at like a sales pitch, where an applicant gets full control over how their experience, traits, skills, and education is looked at. It should always be taken advantage of because it gives this free opportunity for applicants to sell their best assets. Bryan includes some great information in his summary, but it isnt long enough and it doesnt sell all of his capabilities well enough. He needs to make sure it is lengthened to four to six lines.
Check the accomplishment section for these guidelines
An accomplishments section is a great way to show off notable achievements that an applicant has accumulated over their career. However, this section must include three entries. Because this area only includes two entries, the entire section should be removed. Those two details can be placed under the job they belong to as a detail.
Include enough job information
Each job entry in the experience section needs to have between five and eight details. This gives employers a good deal of information about your training and experience. Bryan falls short of this requirement all of his jobs, so he needs to include duties, projects, or metric data to satisfy employers.
Remember to bullet your job details
Bullet points are one of those resume elements that cant be ignored and cant be left out. They are necessary for creating clarity, especially in areas that become a mess with information quickly. The experience section always requires bullet points under the job title, location, and dates. Bryan leaves them off, so he needs to make sure each sentence gets its own bullet, and then all of it needs to be put into list form.
