If your resume is out-of-date, then it might be time to look into updating it with more relevant information. Eliminate third person pronouns from professional summary
Starting your resume off with a concise summary of your background is an excellent way to make a hiring manager excited to read the rest of your resume. You may feel compelled to write using complete sentences using words like I and my, but those types of words are superfluous on a work resume. In addition to shortening this sample resume’s summary down so that it is easier to go through, we would also want to remove all those pronouns. Using the first couple of sentences as an example, we would want to rewrite them to be like this: Currently in the process of re-locating to Las Vegas, Nevada. Driven, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to look outside the box, and get the job done in the most effective and efficient manner.
Skills section should have a maximum of eight points per column
Including a skills section on your resume is a great way to fill up your resume with desirable keywords an employer is going to be searching for. However, you do not want this portion to get too out of hand and completely overload it. The rule is to have a maximum of eight bullet points in each column, meaning you can have a maximum of 16 skills listed on your resume. This resume sample goes well beyond that, so it would be recommended to remove skills that are not as relevant to the position being applied to as the others.
Use bullet points for every place of employment
A lot of the information given for work history is formatted using bullet points, but the very first one deviates from this structure. You want to maintain consistency through any given section, so the material given for FabWorx should be reformatted to go like this:

Try to get your resume down to a single page
There are obviously certain exceptions, but generally speaking, hiring managers want to see resumes that are no longer than a single sheet of paper. If your resume goes well beyond that, as is the case for this sample resume, then you will want to try to eliminate extra information and only focus on what is most recent and relevant. Nine positions are given throughout work history, so a few of these could be removed in order to conserve space.
Accomplishments should be between skills and work history, if it needs to be there at all
If you are going to include an accomplishments section on your resume, then you would want to put it closer to the top right after your skills section. You would not want to do what this sample resume has done and put it at the bottom. However, a lot of this information could be put elsewhere, so you could probably just remove it altogether.
