Applying for a new job means writing an excellent resume to showcase your unique skills and professional qualifications. Avoid generic language
Because your resume should be brief, you want to make sure each word provides unique and descriptive language about who you are as a professional. Using generic phrases such as hard worker and multi-tasker is not recommended because you have to assume that several other applicants will be using those same descriptions. In this resume sample, the applicant has included under the skills sections some generic phrases that should be replaced with more captivating language.
Always use bullets for listing information
The clarity of your resume is one of its most important features. To ensure organization, it is important to use bullet points whenever you are listing items in your resume. This is especially true for the achievements and previous work experience section. The applicant has listed a lot of valuable information; however, the blocks of texts seem to overwhelm the resume.
