Highlights Should Shine
Highlights are a quick way to bring attention to special skills or qualifications. They tend to be more individualized and less general in nature, and should reflect what makes you a great candidate. A different approach would be like this: Highlights

Spelling always matters
The same goes for grammar. Review what you’ve written to catch any misspelled words, missing words, or other grammatical errors. You want your potential employer to see all the good you have accomplished and not where you forgot to use an and or spelled Johnson and Johnson as Johson and Johnson. Try to make it as close to perfect as you can. Allow for time to edit your resume; set a draft aside and come back to it for another look. Chances are good you will spot those errors yourself if you review it another time.
You want to maintain the same format not only throughout your resume but also within headers. That consistency should include sticking with abbreviations or the longer versions. For example, use U.S. or United States, but try to avoid going back and forth between the two.
Provide Details for All Positions
If you have a wide range of work experience, you want to make sure to explain your responsibilities for each position. In this example, the applicant lists specific responsibilities except for one, as shown below: MOSCOW CITY HOSPITAL #7, DEPARTMENT OF GYNECOLOGY Moscow, Russia Obstetrician/Gynecologist 01/1998 to 01/2006 – Provided direct care for OB/GYN patients Giving more detailed information helps your employer understand your job duties and other responsibilities.
