Make sure to use present tense if you are currently in a position and past tense if you have left a position
Even if a position you are describing is your most recent employment, you only need to use present tense if you are still currently working there. Not only is this the grammatically correct format, it will also help to avoid confusing readers. Think of statements in your resume as first-person sentences with the personal pronouns removed.
Double and triple check to make sure that your grammar and spelling are correct
All other sections use short phrases or words for the bullet points. The experience section, on the other hand, uses sentence form, and as such warrants the use of periods. Throughout your resume you will also want to make sure to capitalize Proper Nouns, and include all required punctuation, such as apostrophes. These specific grammar rules can be applied to the sample. WRONG: Experience January 2013 to June 2013 League city, Texas Home Health Aide
