Arrange work experience in reverse chronological order
Employers are most interested in what you’ve been doing most recently. Your work experience should cater to this and list your experience from newest to oldest. This correction is included in the previous example.
Put licenses and certifications towards the bottom of the resume.
It is important to list licenses and certifications, but they tend to be weak tools for making you stand out. If a position requires specific certifications the person in charge of hiring is only likely to look for them after you have garnered their interest. Putting stronger selling points higher on the resume is the best way to develop that interest. To take your resume over the top, you can get expert help with QuintCareer’s Resume Builder.
