Format the accomplishments sections correctly
If an applicant has any metric data, awards, or major promotions, an accomplishments section is the best place to put them. There must be at least three entries, which this resume includes. However, no general job information should be included, and each entry should be given its own bullet point. WRONG: Developed highly effective sales training strategies as Sales Manager of a 12-person team. Brought sales up from a 5-7% close rate up to 12-15%. Decreased attrition rates from 25% to 18-20%. Bullet points are necessary to give the reader a road map to information. This way employers can find and read information they need the most quickly. Steven doesn’t use bullet points in the experience section, which is a big problem for the reader. He needs to make sure each sentence is given a bullet point.
