Use lists for readability
While the opening summary is typically in paragraph format, most sections of a resume should be in bullet-pointed lists, as long paragraphs can be difficult to read and absorb. Hiring managers dealing with many resumes at once may be skimming them for specific details, so you want to be sure those facts stand out on your own resume. Sections such as skills, achievements or certifications should list each item as a concise phrase on its own line in one or two columns.
