In order to give yourself a real chance in the increasingly competitive job market, you have to be looking for ways to seize an advantage even in the earliest stages of the application process. Recruiters certainly want to see that you have self-motivated and are an excellent problem solver, but the more boxes you check on their lists, the more likely you are to get a call back.
Get to the essence of your experience

While it is great to acknowledge that you performed well with many responsibilities in the past, you still must keep in mind that the person reading your resume is likely looking over dozens if not hundreds of other peoples documents. The last thing you want is for him or her to grow bored or overwhelmed with the amount of information you are providing, so it is again a good idea to parse things down to their essence.
