Use the present tense when describing current positions
Although it is a minor edit, changing the tense of your previous or current employment can strengthen the language of your resume. All previous employment should be described in the past tense, and all current employment should be described in the present tense. Doing so emphasizes the duties that you currently have. A common mistake many applicants make is employing the third-person, which would read creates authentic lesson plans . This is not recommended as you do not want to write your resume as though you are writing about another. Think of each separate point as having an invisible I in front of it.
Do not create additional sections
There are traditional sections appropriate for your resume and typically include the following in this order:
Chances are, your employer will not dismiss your resume altogether if you have an extra section included. That being said, it is always better to err on the side of caution.
