Selling your accomplishments to a prospective employer can be nerve-wracking. Checking your own resume against our sample Dillard’s Sales Associate resume sample can help you avoid the most common mistakes, and ensure that your resume looks professional and sophisticated.
Both the summary statement and the education section of this sample resume are stated twice. The fact that the same paragraph is immediately repeated at the start of the resume indicates that the resume wasnt checked thoroughly before submission. This shows a prospective employer straight away that the applicant isnt a careful and studious employee. Be very careful to avoid the obvious mistakes when you review. Its a good idea to have someone else review your resume as well, since fresh eyes will more easily catch bigger issues, and having a professional review done is even better.
