Use bullet points when describing work history
Presenting all the information for every job you have ever held should not be done in paragraph form. Instead, every point should be given its own bullet point, so it is easier to read. Be consistent in terms of tenses
For any given job, you want to be certain that each of the bullet points is formatted in a similar way. Each point should begin with a strong action word that immediately grabs someones attention. Additionally, all of the verbs should be written in the correct tense based on when you worked at that position. Since an end date is given for her job at Cherished Childrens Daycare, all of the points should be written in the past tense like this:
Have a minimum of five bullet points for each job
You want to provide a potential employer with the most comprehensive representation of your experiences and skills. Therefore, it is usually recommended that each position you have worked at should have at least five points. Looking at her time working at Kelly Services, we see that only one point is given, and chances are good she did a lot more than that while she was working there. You never want to sell yourself short, especially on a resume, so aim for that five point minimum.
Look out for gaps in your employment
If we take a careful look at her work history, then we will notice that she quit a job in May 1992 and her next position does not come until September 2002. That is a very large gap to not be working, and if you get called in for an interview, the employer is going to want to know what you were doing during that time. There are numerous acceptable explanations, but if you do have a gap, then you just need to be ready to discuss it.
