Use bullet points in work experience section, not paragraphs
Bulleted lists are highly recommended for various sections on a resume, including your work history. As can be observed from this sample resume, all of the applicants places of work are formatted with paragraphs, which just look clunky on the printed page. For example, after we reformatted the description given for her time at American Airlines, it went something like this:

Make sure you use the precise tenses
Grammatical inaccuracies are far too common on resumes, so you want to avoid being another person who makes this mistake. As a result, you should always use the correct tense when discussing your duties at a certain job, which means using the present tense for your present position and the past tense for past positions. For example, the following point is given for a job she quit in 1989:
Currently, this statement is written in the present tense, but since she stopped working there a while ago, we would want to write it in the past tense as such:
Have somewhere between five and eight points for each job
You do now want to overload your work history section with an abundance of information, but you also do not want to sell yourself short and leave out a bunch of crucial material. This sample resume has some jobs with only a single point while other jobs have a surplus of information. You want to create a certain semblance of balance within the section, so the general rule of thumb is to stick to having around five or eight bullet points for each position listed.
Remove high school education if you have college degree
This rule is needed in order to avoid a redundancy on your resume. If you have earned a college degree, then it is inferred that you got your high school diploma at a certain point in time. In this scenario, you can remove it, so it does not take up space.
Provide dates for education
Even if we remove this sample resumes high school diploma, there are still a few educational achievements listed. However, no dates are given for any of them, so we have no clue when she got this experience. You want to be as specific as you can on your resume, so the reader does not have to make guesses about anything.
