Use bullet points to organize lists
When you use bullet points to discuss your relevant qualifications in the highlights or experience section, your information will stand out. Maintain a consistent verb tense
The resume sample utilizes verbs at the beginning of each bullet to explain work experience. Some of these verbs, however, are in present tense and some are in past tense. Since the first job experience listed is also the applicants current position, all items listed under this job title should be in present tense. For all previously-held positions, a past tense verb is necessary. WRONG:
As you describe past job positions, be sure you use the past tense verbs. Be sure to proof read your resume to look for the confusing of verb tenses. Also, make sure that each bulleted point ends in a period.
