Aim for five to eight bullet points for each previous place of employment
You generally only want to have five to eight impressive points for each place of employment you have had in the past. In this resume sample, they all have over eight, making the section look excessively long. If you are having trouble narrowing down a certain employment down to eight points, try to find the ones that are most relevant to the position you are currently applying for or the ones that look best when listed out. No need to list employment over 20 years ago
You generally do not want to go back over 20 years ago in the Experience section because you want to stick with positions that are most relevant to where you are in your career now. Another exception would be if you learned valuable, relevant skills in a job you had a while ago. Only have a separate Certifications section if you have more than one certificate

In this scenario, the candidate could simply include that in the Education section instead of having a completely different area for it.
