Highlight Your Most Important Qualifications
The applicant on this sample resume states he owned and operated a taxi company. This is a notable achievement, but sadly, it is mentioned only in one sentence in the Summary and is not elaborated on anywhere in the body of the resume. If you have similar experience, be sure to mention it in your accomplishments section, and again as a paragraph in your Work Experience on your resume. You should mention where you owned a business and for how long. Your description should include specifics such as how many employees you managed, how large a budget you maintained, and other metrics on management skills and responsibilities.
Proofread Your Work
Be sure to correct your spelling and keep your formatting consistent. Your resume must be clear and easy to read; always list your job title first.
