Summary should be six lines long at most
Your resumes summary is essentially you introducing yourself to the hiring manager. Although it is completely optional to include a section of your resume completely devoted to your achievements, it can be an excellent way to draw attention to specific things you did at past positions. It can be a very noteworthy portion to include, and it should be positioned better on your resume. This sample places it at the very bottom, so we would want to move it up to go between Highlights and Experience. There is no need to save the good stuff until last because you only have so much time to convince a hiring manager that your resume is worth reading all the way through.
Current jobs should have points written in the present tense
Although drawing attention to your current skillset is crucial on a resume, you do not want to neglect proper spelling and grammar. Every last detail counts, and a single mistake may be all it takes to convince an employer to go with someone else. This resume sample says that she currently works at Highland Management, Inc. However, all the points are written in the past tense. This should be corrected as such:
