Improper Summary Structure
A summary should essentially explain why you are best qualified for a specific position, and this one does not do that well. It simply lists years of experience in certain areas, and it does not list any personal characteristics at all. The format is also incorrect. Summaries should be written in paragraph form, and consist of roughly 4-6 lines. It also contains too much information about experience, and much of this summary can be added to the job experience section of the resume.
This section contains an acceptable amount of highlights, but it is riddled with elementary grammatical errors. Many of the bullets do not contain professional highlights, and should be included in the work experience section instead. They also do a poor job explaining the applicants abilities. Wrong:
The highlights in the right version are actual highlights, not professional expertise. The writer should still greatly expound upon these highlights.
Incorrect Experience Format
This resume does a good job of explaining previous job experience, but it does not follow the correct format for this section. Bullets should be used to emphasize each responsibility or undertaking. There is also no date present, so potential employers will not know the whether the applicant previously held this position, or is still employed there.
