Dr. Randall Hansen announcing the 2004 Quintessential Careers Award, continuing the celebrations related to the eighth anniversary of the award-winning career Website with the presentation of the third annual Quintessential Art of Business Purchase Award. The winner of the 2004 award is senior art major John Scott for his work, Believing “in” Abstraction.
The Quintessential Art of Business Purchase Award is one of the top awards at the Stetson University Student Art Exhibition. The winning artwork becomes part of the university’s permanent collection, and will be displayed in the Lynn Business Center. “It’s all about celebrating our Stetson roots,” states Hansen. “This purchase award allows us to give back to Stetson by supporting current Stetson art students and by providing the Business School with culturally enriching artwork that will be on permanent display in the Lynn Center. Quintessential Careers is all about empowering people, and I can’t something more empowering than this gift.”
