If you get a response from a recruiter or hiring manager and a phone screen is arranged, prepare a thoughtful, carefully worded response for why you were separated due to missing a performance standard. If this was your most recent job, a question will almost certainly be asked by the recruiter or hiring manager as to why you are no longer at the job.
