In all likelihood, your cover letter will repeat things from your resume. That's okay! There's no guarantee the recruiter or hiring manager will have time to read both your resume and your cover letter.
Your cover letter should be approximately one page long. It should also mention the title for the job you're applying to, and the company name. You also want to be sure to include your contact information. And, don’t forget to thank the person for considering your request. Mention too that your resume is attached.
A custom cover letter will ensure that your cover letter is targeted to the specific job you're applying to – and is up to date with your latest experience. < br>
Don't make the mistake of sending an old cover letter. You will likely find yourself at a dead end. The hiring manager will not read your resume if your cover letter is not authentic and targeted.
