It's a sad reality, but one that's better to face now than later. Now, you have a lot of good experience under your belt that you can take with you to a new job.
Start by updating your resume. Be sure your LinkedIn profile is also current. Begin connecting to other people on LinkedIn. Begin following jobs online on sites like Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn. When you find jobs that look like a match, be sure to apply.
And, this is the perfect time to get involved in networking groups. Look for young professional groups in your area. Sign up. Go to activities and sign up to volunteer. The more people you meet, the more likely you are to find a new job.
But, start now. Finding a job takes time. If you are 30 now, it may take one year to find something you really enjoy. Don't put off looking until you are older. It will only make your search harder.
