As you begin to interview, you will likely need to take some time off from your "day job" to pursue these new roles. How do you think your manager will feel about you stepping out to interview for a new position while they are still paying you? It will not be received well by and might cause your manager to terminate your employment.
Keep the fact that you are searching for a new opportunity to yourself. Try to conduct your interviews before or after work, since your current employer is still paying you. Of course, you are entitled to pursue new opportunities where you will be challenged (and compensated) appropriately. Conduct your job search on your own time as much as you are able. Above all, keep it to yourself.
