One sign that hiring managers like you is that the conversation veers into the personal area of hobbies, family life, and interests. This is a good indication that they already think you have the qualifications they need and are now trying to get to know you better. They want to make sure you will fit into the company culture.
Another strong indication is if hiring managers start talking about perks and benefits. This can be a part of them trying to "sell" the company to you. If they really like you and hope you will work there, they want their company to appear attractive. They will present it in its best light.
Be encouraged if the interview runs long. Hiring managers may enjoy talking to you and want to prolong the conversation. While this isn't a guarantee of interview success, anytime you make a personal connection with someone at an interview, it's a good thing.
