If you do not hear anything concrete after about a week, then you should call or email to see what the next steps are. You can also ask if there is anything you can do to move the process forward. This is also a good time to remind the hiring manager if you have interviewed at other businesses and will need to make a decision soon.
Hopefully this will give the hiring manager incentive to schedule the interview sooner rather than later. It is also possible you will not get a response back. Even if the job seems like a great fit, it is important to know when to move on. An inability to schedule interviews may be a sign the company is too chaotic to be enjoyable to work at.
