The truth of the matter is that you should only mention your grades for the first year after graduating. If you had a high GPA, then you can list it in the education section of your resume or include an honor title, such as magna cum laude. However, after a year, it becomes tacky to include a GPA on a resume. Employers probably will not conduct a background check to see what your grades were, so they do not matter after a certain point.
You need to study in college, but you also want to maintain other interests. It is vital to take internships during this time and to partake in extracurricular activities. Employers will most likely care more about what you accomplished than what information you have retained.
