A completed degree in human resources development or management is the most relevant to this field and will help you complete your tasks. You can expect to receive no training once hired.

As a training and development specialist, you can expect to receive a decent wage no matter your experience or education. The bottom 10 percent of employees earn on average $15.00 per hour. The top 10 percent earns $47.00, and the median rate is set at $27.00 per hour for the nation. Some states offer higher or lower wages. Washington D.C., Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and Rhode Island have medians rates above $32.00 per hour.
