This letter is to announce my resignation as RN from Gormen Medical, beginning May 21, 2014. As you may know, I have accepted a position with another health care facility that will not start until July. But the family and I will take a long vacation before I switch over.
I want to thank everyone here at Gormen for all the support, assistance and friendship over the last eight years. I have amassed a range of talents that I could not have gotten anywhere except with a highly rated group of clinicians like yourselves. Leaving is the hardest decisions I have ever made professionally. Unfortunately, since receiving my B.S., Gormen cannot afford me the kind of position that I need to advance my career. With my new employer, I will be a Charge Nurse. This is an opportunity that I would be foolish to pass up, especially if I want to grow in the field of nursing management.
While I wish everyone here continued success, I have no intention of leaving you all behind. I have made friends here that will continue to be a part of my life. I would not even be remiss to returning to Gormen Medical one day.
