I realize that your school has a policy allowing only authorized adults to pick up children at the end of the day. However, I will be away on a work-related project from September 24 through October 6 and will be unable to pick my daughter, Jessica O’Neill, from New Parkland Elementary School. I would like to grant permission for my sister, Darlene Haven, to pick up my daughter from school for the next few weeks until I return.
As you probably already know, I am a single parent with a job that can occasionally takes me out of town for brief periods of time. I try my best to limit these trips, especially during the school year. Unfortunately, I was unable to do schedule this trip at a more convenient time due to the needs of my employer.
Jessica will also be staying with my sister while I am away. Therefore, I would like to also give you permission to contact her with any school-related issues concerning my daughter that may arise while I am away.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions concerning this temporary arrangement. You can reach me via cellphone at (555) 222-1233.
