Dear Mr. Hassle,

After reviewing the quality of your work over the past three weeks, I have decided to terminate our independent contractor agreement effective October 1, 2014. You will find that this letter falls within the guidelines for terminating the agreement as per the agreement itself.

I have found that your work consistently needs repeated edits by our staff and is not up to the quality that we normally require. At this moment, you have six projects that are due and we expect to see those projects delivered by their due dates in order to expedite your final payment. From this point forward, you will not be receiving any new projects.

I would like to point out that the basic structure of your work is of the highest quality. It is my opinion that the specific topics we require do not fall into your comfort zone and that is why the work you create for us is sub-par.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 555-324-3222 or email me at Your final payment will be processed as per the contract and as all previous payments have been processed.

Sincerely Yours,

Penelope G. Yates
