To Whom it May Conern,

I'm writing in response to your letter of denial of unemployment in which you indicated I could appeal by providing additional information that may be significant.

  • I was employed as Salon Coordinator at Earth Salon since its opening in September 2012.
  • By January of 2013 the owner and I had developed a personality conflict and he suggested I look for another job while he looked for a replacement.
  • By February he indicated that he wanted me to stay.
  • Throughout 2013 we lost four part-time receptionists and during that very difficult time I performed all my duties as Salon Coordinator while also covering the front desk and training new receptionists.
  • In December 2013 I received a $1000 performance bonus because of my hard work and long hours under difficult circumstances.
  • In January 2014 the owner decided that his fiance would be good at my job. He asked me to train her and said I would have three months to find another job.
  • After two weeks of training he said he “didn't want to drag this out” and he let me go.

I believe under the circumstances that I'm eligible for unemployment benefits.

Sincerely Yours,

Jeff Tan
