A recent study of current job trends has found that professionals with cloud computing experience on their resumes should be able to find more work in the future.According to the new study, conducted by the Sand Hill Group and sponsored by SAP America, cloud computing is already generating a significant number of jobs in the U.S., and based on trends, it has the potential to create hundreds of thousands of new positions in the future and build a large amount of business opportunities. The study confirms that cloud computing can have a significant impact at every key growth stage of the business lifecycle – from launching a startup to expanding a business to managing a multi-national enterprise, said Jacqueline Vanacek, vice president and cloud computing evangelist at SAP. “Business growth leads to jobs, and cloud computing will accelerate this in certain industries.” Additionally, the research found that 11 cloud computing companies in the U.S. added 80,000 new jobs in 2010, with the overall hiring rate at those firms almost 5 times higher than the overall high-tech sector.
