Baker Tilly has been named one of the 2012 Best Public Accounting Firms for women by the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) and the American Women’s Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSCPA).
With offices throughout Wisconsin, as well as in Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York and Washington D.C., Baker Tilly was recognized for its entrepreneurship and support for women with financial experience on their resumes.

ASWA said that since more than half of all employees at Baker Tilly are managers, the company provides young associates with examples of diverse career paths for females in the industry. The association said that most of the “best” firms named in its annual report also demonstrated imagination and innovation when it came to blending community service with professional development.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that employment opportunities for accountants and auditors are expected to increase by 16% through the end of the decade.
