When you answer this question, you want to make sure to point out certain traits and experiences.

  • Briefly discuss the types of problems you work with currently.

  • Talk about how these problems have helped you learn and grow as an employee.

  • Bring up how you enjoy a challenge, are great at problem solving, value critical thinking or some other trait that helps you deal with work problems.

  • Make sure to talk about values that line up with the values of the company. If they value teamwork, try to talk about how teamwork helps you deal with problems.

    The way you answer this question will show the interviewer how capable you are and some of your values.
