Dear Mr. Tracey,
I am submitting my resume for consideration of the Medical Physicist position with your company. I recently completed my residency and believe working with Capital is the opportunity I need. I have my certification and license to practice diagnostic radiological physics. I am already adept at assessing current treatments for patients and finding ways to use technology and medical equipment to improve those procedures.
I have a thorough working knowledge of processing image data and radiation physics. Magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, sonography, X-ray and positron emission tomography are important resources and, in the wrong hands, potential dangerous to patients and clinicians. The Medical Physicist has to have excellent communication and presentation skills as they will be responsible for ensuring users are properly trained. Users will need to adhere to practices and safety guidelines. Outside of my technical prowess in this field, I have the interpersonal skills for working with nurses, therapists, surgeons, etc., and showing them how to get the best results out of the most complex diagnostic equipment.
I am proud to say I have taken two of my passions Ð health care and technology Ð to make a difference. I want to be involved in clinical research that improves lives. I would love to do that at as a Medical Physicist at Capital Tech.
Best regards,
Dr. Isla Cisneros
