Dear Mr. Pahl,
I saw your ad for a Machine Operator and am submitting my resume for consideration. I’ve worked in machine shops since I graduated from the John Marshall Trade School over a decade ago. More recently I completed my Associate’s Degree in CNC Machine Operations part of which included participation in an apprenticeship program. In my current position I set up and work with CNC machines in the metalworking industry.
In addition to loading materials into the machine I set the machine tools according to the job order and monitor multiple machine operations during use. Part of my job also includes completing job-tracking documentation and oversight of supply inventory to maintain efficiency. In addition to proficiency with CNC machines I’ve also operated engine lathes milling machines and punch presses. I interpret written instructions sketches and drawings and use precision instruments to check tolerances. With my experience familiarity with various machine tools and precision instruments and manual dexterity I would bring a well-rounded understanding of the metalworking industry to Pahl Manufacturing. I also have an in-depth knowledge of and respect for safety regulations.
I look forward to speaking to you soon to discuss where I could best serve the shop floor. Please call me at the above number at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Brady Kline
