Museum of Aviation
City, State, Zip Code
Dear Prof. Ali,
I read the ad in today’s City, State Daily News for a Museum Curator with tremendous interest. I knew right off I wanted to be considered. I have regularly checked your website for a prospect like this, as I have always felt my personal interest, career goals and professional skill are a great fit.
I am a former college professor that specializes in transportation and aviation studies. From field aviation development to the Swedish Coast Guard’s replacement of an aging fleet of CASA 212s, I am well versed in all things that take to the air. I am comfortable with archiving, securing and recording artifacts, having studied informatics. I am comfortable soliciting donations, acquisitions and finding the best ways to excite the community about exhibits and events.
As my enclosed resume attests, I am a member of Air Legacy, as well as on the board at the Roger Winston Museum in New Parkland, working closely with their curator on the development of the aviation section.
I believe my experiences, in-depth knowledge and deep passion to share what I have learned makes me a solid candidate for Museum Curator. Please let me come in for an interview so I can show you what I can bring to your organization.
Best regards,
Brady Kline
