Dear Mr. Harrison,
I read with excitement KCCL’s advertisement for the News Producer position. I know I am an excellent candidate for the job. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and six years working as a news producer on the Six O’clock News over at KKOW I fully expect you’ll agree I’m the best person for the job.
My experience has taught me how to hone the presentation of news stories to deliver the message in an impactful and meaningful way. I assist my news team in reviewing raw footage and editing it. I am an expert at selecting footage that should appear on the evening news. My experience as a news producer arena has given me the ability to succeed. I have a very visual mind and a keen awareness of what is important. I am flexible and am able to work on short notice at any time because I understand news happens twenty-four hours a day. With me in the News Producer role KCCL’s evening news will have a behind-the-scenes news manager who will make your news segment stand out.
I would like to meet as soon as possible. After reviewing my enclosed clips please contact me either via email or telephone.
Sincerely,
Madelynn Wilkinson
