Dear Mr. Darnell McFadden,
As an experienced administrator and educator I read your listing on Monster.com with interest. I started in the school system as an administrative assistant and substitute teacher while still in college. After graduating I was a full time Social Studies teacher but replaced the outgoing vice principal in 1991. After which I became the indispensable right hand of teachers and administrators and involved in hiring scheduling maintaining inventory and working closely with students on both individual and group basis.
For me learning did not end with my Master’s. I am constantly looking for new venues to hone my craft and improve performance. This includes course work that led to the development of an afterschool program that combines learning with fun activities like games and exercise.
I understand school does not end with summer vacation for the vice principal. This two month gap is when administrators are heavily involved in program development student registration and many other administrative tasks.
Please review my resume and you will see I have the credentials and salary requirements that match up with what you are looking for. I would appreciate the opportunity to come in for an interview to discuss the position and possibilities in greater detail.
Sincerely Yours,
Isla Cisneros
