To Whom It May Concern,
This morning I received a letter from your university admissions department letting me know that I was not accepted into your university. I am writing this letter in hopes that you will reverse your decision. Not only is UCLA my dream university but I believe I would be a great asset for you as well. Please allow me to explain why.
It wasn’t until after I sent in my application that I realized my mistake. As I was copying the pages of my application for my own records two of the pages accidentally got stuck together. As a result a full page of my extracurricular activities and achievements was missing from the application I sent in. I thought I checked to make sure everything was there but apparently I missed this page somehow. I have included another copy of my application along with the previously missing page for you to review. I think once you see the additional achievements that were missing from my last application you will be impressed.
Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Sincerely Yours,
Keyla Gallegos
