Jamya Patrick,
This letter will serve as my official resignation as a dental hygienist for your practice effective in two weeks. Unfortunately, my husband has been transferred to a company office in China and my world is about to become very different by October 15, 2014.
I want to take this time to thank you and the rest of the staff for your kindness and making my career with your practice enjoyable. I have made many friends that I will try to stay in touch with through social media and email. I am uncertain what to expect with this coming change, but I do know that the prospects of living in a foreign land strike me as exciting.
Despite the major changes upcoming in my life, my schedule for the next two weeks remains remarkably open. If you need me to stay longer during the day to train a replacement, then I would be more than happy to do that. I will discuss any final paperwork with the office manager first thing tomorrow morning to make sure that all of the loose ends are tied up before I leave.
If you would like to call me, you can until October 14 at 000-000-0000. My email will remain email@email.com if you would like to contact me through email.
Sincerely Yours,
Amanda W. Tolliver
