When writing a crew member recommendation letter, always try to indicate the type of service the candidate’s past crews have offered. In many cases, a versatile crew member candidate can find it easier to advance their career with a new position.

Felicity Weeks,
Allow me to take this moment to convey a recommendation for Alistair Babbit as a crew member for your organization. I was the crew chief that Alistair worked under at Ted’s Restaurant and I have found the loss of his energy and enthusiasm to be extremely evident since the company laid him off due to economic considerations.
Alistair worked as part of the breakfast and lunch crews and would alternate from week to week. He did this because we were short-handed on both crews for a while and he volunteered to bounce back and forth until we could bring in more people. But the restaurant was not doing well, so Alistair was permanently going back and forth between the two crews, but he never complained about it.
When Alistair is assigned a crew duty, he carries it out completely. He works hard and has no problem taking direction. He also takes a great deal of pride in his work and prefers to do more than is required, as opposed to leaving jobs partially undone. I can strongly recommend Alistair for your crew needs and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Regards,
Tina Aspen
