Dear Mr. Riddle,
Due to constructive discharge tactics used regularly by my supervisor, I am forced to resign my position with Peat Corporation effective immediately. The conditions created by my supervisor have become so unbearable that I am unable to execute my duties and I also fear for my safety.
Over the past several months, I have used the proper human resources channels to indicate the abuse and harassment that was taking place in my department. At that point, I had warned of a constructive discharge situation, but it appears that my words fell on deaf ears.
I am extremely disappointed in the lack of responsibility shown by the company management and the lack of action on my behalf. I enjoyed my job and I did enjoy the company of the majority of the people I worked with. But when the supervisor decides to make a work environment poisonous and nothing is done to stop him, then I am left with no choice but to resign.
If you would like more information on this unfortunate situation, please feel free to call me at 000-000-0000 or you can email me at email@email.com.
Sincerely Yours,
Brenda W. Hampton
