Felicity Weeks,
I am writing to you today on behalf of Leonard Miller. I believe that he will make a good apprentice plumber. I had the pleasure of serving as one of Leonard’s instructors at Pacific Technical Institute, so I am able to personally attest to his ability to successfully complete various plumbing tasks.
I realize that you receive several applications for apprenticeships each year. However, I firmly believe that Leonard has demonstrated natural abilities that would make him an excellent apprentice. He performed well on all practical application and written exams. He also put in extra hours to earn his certification. I have attached a copy of his final evaluation for your review.
Leonard was always attentive during classroom instruction. He also demonstrated a remarkable ability to diagnose common plumbing problems during training simulations. In addition to being eager to learn, he is also great at interacting with people. If I can provide any further information about Leonard, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Don Withers
