Cole Porter once offered the musical advice, "Be a Clown." Michael Bongar has already been a clown, graduating from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1975, and has since gone on to providing top acts for corporate entertainment around the country.

His company, Bongarbiz, provides circus acts and other odd performers for corporate events, fundraisers and birthdays or other personal parties.

The company now features in-depth interviews and photo spreads of some of the more unique acts he works with on their Geek of the Week section, allowing people to get a better sense of the performing artists they might hire.

"Audiences today have been overexposed to trite entertainment, so we scour the world, selecting only the most amazing, unique performers for our clients," Bongar said. "No one else has the connections, experience and strong relationships we have with the arts community, vendors and corporations that make us masters at matching the right performers with the best corporate atmosphere."

The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that actors, dancers, musicians and singers will see about average growth in employment through 2016, approximately 12% growth from the 58,000 jobs in the field in 2006.ADNFCR-1502-ID-19299167-ADNFCR
